Lima – Drop the Mike…..

Thank you Lima—you chaotic, colourful legend.
Thank you to the water park, where I’m still not entirely sure if I went for the lights or just to accidentally shower in public with 200 strangers.

And thank you, YouTube… for capturing the good, the bad, and the slightly wobbly camera work while I tried to look like I knew what I was doing.

But… I think it’s time for a plot twist.
Less “action movie filmed by an over-caffeinated tourist,” and more “thoughtful storyteller who occasionally stops walking long enough to take a photo.”

The next chapter? Still shots.
Yes—actual, composed, non-blurry images. Bold move, I know. Perhaps I should have packed the dSLR, the iphone will have to do 🙂 A chance to slow things down, notice the details, and maybe—just maybe—take a photo that isn’t 70% sky and 30% thumb.

Same journey, just a different pace.
Fewer near misses with traffic, more quiet moments that tell a story without needing dramatic background music. One big hill to climb, decend, climb, decend…..continue.

Let’s see how this goes… worst case, I go back to filming everything and blaming “creative direction.”
Onward and upward.
